About
BadQBing welcomes you back to BQBL 2022 on Fantasizr!
For those new to the Bad Quarterback League, it is a non-traditional fantasy league where you draft teams with bad quarterbacks instead of actual players. Each week, your starters are scored based on the scoring table below. The worse the quarterback performance, the higher the score!
We will continue to use the scoring system inspired by Grantland's Failure Machine. Scoring categories and details are outlined below. All scoring decisions are at the sole discretion of the BadQBing Supplementary League Oversight Board. Fantasizr offers up both public and private leagues, which are also outlined below. Scores will be updated by Tuesday each week, although delays are always possible. Any changes or updates will be provided via our Twitter account.
On behalf of us at BadQBing, welcome to BQBL 2022!

Scoring
Public Leagues consist of 8 teams composed of 4 NFL teams. Private Leagues can have a variable number of teams in a league, and a variable number of NFL teams on each BQBL team. These settings can be changed by the private league commissioner prior to the draft. By default, all teams are on the active roster each week. To change this in private leagues, enable "Manage Lineups" under "Edit League Info," and set your desired number of starting teams. BadQBing.com recommends 2 starters each week. In our own league, we require 4 starts from each team prior to our playoffs.
NFL teams are drafted, not individual players. Stats for all quarterbacks that play in a game will count toward the weekly score. 24/7 points are scored to the week beginning the Tuesday prior to games through the end of Monday, i.e., 24/7 points are scored for the days leading up to the current week's games. Any judgement calls on scoring decisions lie solely with the BadQBing.com Supplementary League Oversight Board.

Welcome to the Week 7 game log!
New England Patriots
Mac Jones made the start this week for New England, but was not in for long. After starting out 3 for 6 for 13 yards and an interception, it was back to Zappe. And while Bailey Zappe also wasn’t spectacular, the memes were as the Twitter-verse welcomed in the beginning of Mac Jones’ roaming backup QB career.
San Francisco 49ers
Jimmy G tried his best against the Chiefs but, outside of a couple touchdowns, did not execute. Throw in a QB safety and a late game benching for Brock Purdy, and it’s a great week for Niners owners. Also, while defensive opponents loosely correlate with BQBL performance, the Chiefs and Bills have allowed some nasty scores so far this year.

Welcome to the Week 5 game log!
Carolina Panthers
Week 1, Baker Mayfield was supposed to show Cleveland what a huge mistake they made. And while I do think Cleveland made a huge mistake, that mistake wasn’t shipping Mayfield off to Carolina. His five starts this year have gone terribly, and while Matt Rhule wasn’t fired solely on Mayfields performance, it sure didn’t help. This week Baker even was injured, played through it, only to be benched at the end of the game. Carolina is a solid bet every week, to the surprise of no one.
Dallas Cowboys
While Baker Mayfield has done terribly, Cooper Rush, starting in place of an injured Dak Prescott, has been doing phenomenally well. So well, in fact, it has a lot of people wondering why they would e...
Welcome to the week 4 game log!
Pittsburgh Steelers
Mitchell Trubisky had (what appears to be) his last start for the Steelers against the Jets. Trubisky started out with 58 net yards, an INT, and no TD’s, which led to him being benched for Kenny Pickett. Pickett was able to rush for a couple of touchdowns, but also committed another three interceptions, running up the BQBL score. Now the starter, Pickett will have a tough time against a dominant Bills defense. Steelers owners rejoice.
Jacksonville Jaguars
It’s been a slow start for the perennial BQBL favorite Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence has managed to stay out of trouble and pushed the Jaguars to a 2-1 start. However, after the Eagles went down by 14 early on Sunday, the defense ...
Chicago Bears
Let’s start things off by talking about Da Bears. From Peter Bukowski on Twitter, Justin Fields’ 297 pass yards through the first 3 weeks is the lowest total from a starting QB since the merger. Even with the Bears winning games, it’s great to have a QB that is used/trusted so little that you still see great returns in the BQBL. The only downside to these close games? The potential for game winning drives, but how many of those could Justin Fields pull off, anyway? It’s going to be a good year for Chicago Bears owners.
New York Jets
Don’t let the BQBL standings fool you: the New York Jets are still trash. With the exception of the week 2 debacle against the team-that-shall-not-be-named giving up a game winning drive, Joe Flacc...
Welcome back BQBLers! Let’s take a look at a few quick items from this week.
Tennessee Titans
After a 12-5 season and claiming the AFC #1 seed last year, the Titans are off to a rocky start in 2022. While some changes to the offense in the offseason left some question marks, the Titans find themselves 0-2 to start the season. While Tannehill made it through week 1 unscathed in the BQBL, week 2 proved to be a harsh reality. To be fair, it looks as though the Bills are a force to be reckoned with this season. However, questions still remain for Tannehill and the Titans offense following an 82 point performance this week.
Indianapolis Colts
In the offseason, Indy was quick to remove Carson Wentz from the team, ultimately making a move for Ma...
Welcome one and all to BQBL 2022! For those of you new to the show, welcome to fantasy football’s unpredictable, always-a-good-time, drunk cousin. For those of you returning, welcome back! We’re here to crank out the scoring for Fantasizr, and largely missing from last year, provide some weekly commentary. We’ll see how long we can keep it up before life does life things, but for now, let’s take a look at week 1. While certain results came as no surprise this week, e.g. Mahomes slapping owners with negative points, other outcomes were not quite anticipated.
Bengals/Rams
With Joe Burrow’s strong 2021 performance culminating in a Super Bowl appearance, you would expect a possible regression in 2022. However, in week 1 against the Steelers, am...
