One does not need to be from Target's HQ in Minnesota to believe the origin of the "Target Run" concept, but everyone has their $100/week store that became a $100/visit store that with inflation is now the $200/visit store...and so on. The journey is full of many stories, which most recently was the noticable increase in focus Target placed on LGBTQ+ that let market share slip away in visits and and to Target alternatives.
