They were the best stationary bike ever to hit the market. They were the best treadmill ever made. And then they tried charging $40+/mo subscriptions...and still do...and they have competition, and now the equipment is getting more specialized instead of just better in the one-size-for-all models of prior years. Brand equity might be best served like Dre's BEATS and the company is priced for that possibility.
