Hakunofuji came into Haru under the cloud of scandal after his stablemaster struck him after Hakunofuji was a drunken boor at a social event. He also was dealing with a toe injury in his left foot, which was his real problem during Haru. He never did look right and had to withdraw on Day One only to come back on Day Seven to try something. He managed a 5-5 in actual competition, for whatever that is worth.
